The Guardian newspaper published an article last week detailing the purported last will of Osama bin Laden, killed by US forces the day before. According to the document, he instructed his wives not to remarry and, perhaps more surprisingly, instructed his children not to join Al-Qaeda. He also apologized to his children for not spending enough time with them. While the official term for a will is a Last Will and Testament, it is relatively rare for the will to actually give broad “life instructions”; bin Laden clearly felt the need to do so.
