Those of you reading this on Twitter will know that it is quite common to live-tweet big events. I’ve done it myself at several conferences; it gives those not in attendance (or those of us in different streams) the chance to “sit in” on the presenters. Scott Simon did something a little different. He live-tweeted his mother’s death.
When his mother was admitted to the ICU after emergency surgery, Scott started tweeting his thoughts on a life well lived, and on the thought of facing life without his mother. It is powerful stuff, and well worth a read if you missed it live.
You can see his full Twitter feed here (scroll down a short ways to start seeing the tweets about his mother).
