Changing your mind

Cancel

CancelIt doesn’t happen often, but a few times over the years, I have had clients call me to let me know that they had firm agreements to sell their homes and had changed their mind and wanted out. They wanted to know if there was any chance that they could do so.

The short answer is, usually not. Once you have a firm agreement, something has to happen to allow either party to get out. You can always simply refuse to close, but at the end of the day that opens you up to being sued for breach of contract. You should always be sure you want to sell before you sign on that line.
