WalkMost purchase agreements provide for one or two additional visits after the agreement has gone firm, usually to take measurements for furniture and to check on the progress of any agreed-upon repairs. Another good time to have a walkthrough? Right before closing. Going through the house the day before closing, or the morning of, will make it more likely that you are seeing it as the sellers intend to leave it, which will minimize any surprises on the day of closing.
